Lakeville Folk & Blues Fest, L.L.C.

Hello from Lakeville Folk & Blues Fest, Lakeville, Indiana. We are in the early stages of putting together this year’s event, tentatively scheduled for the weekend of August 3-5. We are in negotiations with International, national, regional & local artists. We are also looking into an alternative venue, even nicer than last year’s site –– more camper friendly! This first stage is the initial capital raising phase. To secure the venue and pay the artist’s deposits, we need investors. To secure investors, we need to demonstrate interest. To demonstrate interest, we need to sell early bird tickets and perhaps garner some corporate sponsors. The problem---how to sell tix and find sponsors for something that does not yet exist as a specific entity. Catch 22.

We have Harpeth Rising tentavely scheduled, and are waiting to hear back from Alison Krauss, Ian Anderson, and others.

Anybody who attended last year’s event will tell you that a good time was had by all. We are aiming higher for this year, but nothing is written in stone. SOMETHING WILL OCCUR / THERE WILL BE MUSIC & CAMPING ETC... The more early response, the better the show. Early bird tix are $30 for all weekend and camping. TELL YOUR FRIENDS / SHARE / GET YOUR YA-YAS OUT!!!
